Ghanaian Juventus Duorinaah Becomes Ghana’s First Deaf Lawyer

Juventus Duorinaah, from Wa in Ghana’s Upper West Region, lost his hearing at the age of 9 due to an illness.

Despite this challenge, Duorinaah never gave up on his dream of becoming a lawyer; a dream he fought tirelessly to achieve.

He attended specialized schools for the deaf in Ghana and later graduated from the University of Ghana with a law degree, making history as the nation’s first deaf lawyer.
