Kelvin Kaunda Announces His Candidature for Presidency
Former Ward Councillor for Mwembeshi Ward 27 in Matero Constituency, and National Youth Chairperson Member of the Politburo Socialist party, Kelvin Kaunda has announced his intention to run for president of Zambia as an independent candidate in the 2026 general election.
He is also founder, proprietor, and CEO of Lusaka’s Eden University.
The field is full of Presidential candidates. It is as if it is very easy to be President. Can you imagine that this Kelvin Kaunda belongs to Socialist Party of Fred M’membe but he wants to also stand as President. So, from the same party, two people competing for votes against one another. How do you campain like this?
Presidence is the simplest position to contest in Zambia.I remember even in Kaunda error,a frog used to contest on the same position.
