Ladies and gentlemen, countrymen and women, on behalf of our clients Celestine Mambula Mukandila and Munir Zulu who successfully stopped Bill 7 in the Constitutional Court I state as follows:
The dead Bill 7 has been resuscitated by a cadre of politicians bent on vandalism to the Constitution to sneak their wishes into the document. They are doing it not for the good of the country but for temporary enjoyment: to cling on to power.
The shocks in Malawi have scared them so bad that they want a document that will help them get their way: cling on to power.
Countrymen and women, Zambia does not need a new Constitution. Zambia needs a revived economy. Zambia needs jobs. Zambia needs to end poverty. Those are solutions that these cadres should be selling to Zambians. Bill 7 is not bad for what it says, Bill 7 is bad for what it doesn’t say.
The UPND Government does not need Bill 7 to give youths, women or the disabled to run for the National Assembly. The UPND can simply adopt youths, women and the disabled as a party policy and not to lie to us that Bill 7 is the answer.
The UPND wants to create a one party state through increased nominations by the President of unelected MPs. The UPND wants to obliterate the opposition by making it easy for rebel MPs to cross the flow. By allowing a party to easily fire and replace MPs, the UPND wants to capture the opposition and bring Rwanda into Zambia.
We are commencing contempt proceedings against the Speaker of the National Assembly TODAY. She will be the first Speaker to be sent to prison. We are also commencing contempt proceedings against the Minister of Justice.
On top of the contempt proceedings against the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Minister of Justice, we are filing the MOTHER OF ALL PETITIONS by Wednesday 1st October 2025. This petition will be an INDEPENDENCE DAY gift for all Zambians who have suffered so much for so long.

Rather presumptive and speculative to suggest what isnt stated and thus assume.
We seem to love to dwell on this phenomenon. Instead of relying on factual information we want to make assumptions about what we think is being said. Yet not.
You are not serious!!!
If am not what does the article and its quoting Munir Zulu. What does it suggest?
These so called lawyers for a prisoner in prison are just too bitter to try by all means to delay the good from the UPND bright and good policies. But as the Lord God lives goodness will triumph over evil.
This ka moslem prisoner munir in prison is even sueing government using corrupt funds gotten from the treasury for supplying air and self exiled relative kaiza to sue government for the restoration of our good relationship with the HOLY LAND – Isreal. What nonsence is that! Again on the constructive bill, bill 7 which was deferred this ka thing is still making noise using stollen money to try and continue their bitterness. What type of people surely are these who are being used by satan? Satan the mother of all lies and confusion?
Bill 7 will pass and we will benefit from it’s fruits.
You can also sue sasa afrika for your on going lo-se-si of your big dead head snake chagwa agwa since you have been losing his barial case from incemption and now hammered with costs – double for that matter. Mukapapa you will all go to the grave with your un-repented sins. Hell is your lasting desitination no wonder your crooked behaviour. Shatalamonapo people who habours such type of hatred on an individual. It can be only satan and his agents who, exactly you are.
Bill 7 has already been presented to and in parliament and it is for that matter that, any other small issues as was brought before His Excellency the Republican President. President Hakainde Hichilema when he met a consotium of Civil Society Organisations including the Church and Law Association of Zambia, the President instructed and directed the Ministry of Justice to defer bill 7 so as to allow nore participation otherwise consultation with the citizens and concerned parties, which was by this time already started by the Ministry of Justice and this was also later identified by the concourt. These however, are being taken as beong important procedurally and was work in progress. Hence from June 2025 to date we are on course, moving forward with purpose in the right direction . Even the Chiefs echored the same when they met His Excellency the Republican President Mr Hakainde Hichilema recently. So things are happening.
No more dununa reverse kale yaliko. Apa nomba ni foward. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
