MANGANI THROWS HIS WEIGHT BEHIND KALABA
… says the Country needs a leader who is accessible, visionary, and passionate about development.
KATETE, MONDAY, OCTOBER 13,2025 [Smart Eagles]
FORMER Home Affairs Minister and Chipata Central member of parliament Lameck Mangani has backed Citizens First party President Harry Kalaba ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Mr. Mangani said the Country needs a leader who is accessible, visionary, and passionate about development.
He also bemoaned the poor state of roads in Eastern province saying the area has been neglected.
And Citizens First President Harry Kalaba says his party is deeply honoured and humbled that Hon Lameck Mangani, a respected and prominent figure in Zambia has officially endorsed his candidature for the 2026 general elections under the Citizens First movement.
“This endorsement is a great encouragement as we continue building a Zambia that puts Citizens First. Let’s continue walking this journey together,” Mr. Kalaba said.
Harry Kalaba writes:
Fellow Zambians,
We are honoured and humbled to announce that Hon Lameck Mangani, a respected and prominent figure in our nation and former Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, has officially endorsed our candidature for the 2026 general elections under the Citizens First movement.
Mr Mangani also made it clear that the Country needs a leader who is accessible, visionary, and passionate about development.
This endorsement is a great encouragement as we continue building a Zambia that puts Citizens First. Let’s continue walking this journey together.
What credibility do some of these “have been” have?
What did this man attain to stand before us and suggest his opinion is worth its weight in gold? Provincial “fimo fimo” and when did these Provincial “fimo fimo” ever rely on data that can be quantified? Was their intuition ever 100% reliable? And can we hope that the intuition that they so great share can be dependable?
Too often today we see the likes of this man want to share their unsound “past date of sale” opinions, for a seat at the table. The kind we see from Changala, Msoni and their kid.
Ever heard a former Japanese Prime Minister too often making public statements? When they leave the stage. They leave for good. They did their time. And the stage is left for others to do theirs. Instead in Zambia, like an “old 45 inch LP” our “has been politicans want to come and tell us their fossil ideas are still relevant. That they want to come back. Ni njala chabe and wanting to force themselves in perpetuity, for selfish and sepf centered reason.
Bwana like Shi nono, aka, Msoni and their tribe of old fossils. Go write your autobiograpghies. We are tired of you remix versions of your songs…pamene muna yabila simulema? Lol ni beans unga dye beans everyday? Talema
Yes Mangani is indeed desperate. He has to find someone and something to bestow relevance to him.
However, desperate or not, very soon Mangani will realise how empty his endorsed person is. Mangani is
far too smart to follow a registry clerk. He is a learned teacher and he can tell who is intelligent, bright, smart of simply dull. Mangani will soon find out that his prefered candidate is only good at talking, arguing and has no depthto his arguements. Mangani will realise that kalaba is neither smart nor intelligent let alone clever.
Just ask kalaba who was the owner of the failed Vision newspaper, and how the paper got its contracts in Government ministries?????? Didnt GBM get jailed for such abuse of office?
There is a kaponya outside shoprite who is a mishanga seller who has also endorsed kalaba.
