Vice-President Mutale Nalumango says she is a submissive wife depsite her position.
Speaking during a gala dinner held to celebrate the 71st birthday of Bread of Life overseer Bishop Joe Imakando, the Vice-President explained that submission is not an option because it is God’s plan.
She said the husband’s role is to love the wife, while the wife submits to the husband.
“Today I want to give you one attribute which many of you will even doubt, that I am a very good wife.
“And you can see, I am a very submissive wife, so I am here not because Bishop Imakando invited me, it is Dr Bishop Nalumango that was invited and, therefore, as an obedient, submissive wife, I came,” she added.
The Vice-President said Bishop Imakando has long been a devoted spiritual father of her husband, Bishop Nalumango.
She said she believes that spiritual growth flourishes under the guidance of spiritual parents.
