Patriotic Front (PF) “faction” leader Robert Chabinga says some diplomats accredited to Zambia have gone beyond their boundaries and are interfering with Zambia’s internal affairs.
And Chabinga has called on President Hakainde Hichilema to take action against ambassadors who are allegedly having dark corner meetings with some members of the former ruling party who are claiming to be leaders of the party.
Meanwhile, Chabinga says he is in charge of the PF, further questioning the mental faculty of fellow faction leader Miles Sampa who yesterday claimed to have handed over the instruments of power to former president Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
Speaking at a media briefing Friday morning, Chabinga who is also leader of the opposition in parliament has warned that diplomats should stay away from meddling in Zambia’s internal affairs.
Reaffirming his endorsement for President Hichilema ahead of next year’s elections, Chabinga says the head of state is “too nice” and tolerant against individuals commiting alleged criminalities with certain diplomats.
Chabinga says given six months to rule the country, there can be sanity in Zambia.
And Chabinga who is Mafinga member of parliament has called for the deportation of ambassadors who are getting too much involved in Zambia’s internal matters.
Meanwhile, Chabinga has described Sampa’s briefing yesterday as a joke.
The parliamentarian has since advised Zambians to ignore Sampa and team, adding that he (Chabinga) remains acting PF president unless the court says otherwise.
The lawmaker has appealed to speaker of national assembly to subject Members of Parliament to medical examinations to ensure that the house does not have insane people making laws.
