Kalulushi’s community leader Rashida Mulenga has urged artists in the district to embrace unity for the betterment of the industry.
And Mulenga says artists can contribute to community development when united.
Speaking when she graced an album launch for brother Titus Chakopa at Kalulushi Union Baptist church on Saturday, Mulenga stated that with unity, entertainers can bring people together.
She stated that music has the power to influence people either in a positive or negative way, stressing that her support for young people in the industry remains intact.
“I want to urge you as gospel artists to be united. It has to start from you then it can be extended to the church and later on the community,” Mulenga said.
Mulenga who is former Kalulushi mayor further stated that when united, artists can influence minds towards community development.
Meanwhile, Mulenga urged the musician to solder on his career, adding that through music, he can also minister to millions of people and save souls.
“You can face challenges in this journey like I faced some challenges in the recent past as a leader but I remained positive and kept on pushing. That’s the encouragement I am giving you and with that, you will definitely succeed as an artist,” she added.
